Miguel Garcia Casas, born in 1994 in Les Coves de Vinromà, Spain, studied in Madrid and Bern.
He has achieved remarkable success in the orchestral field, starting with youth orchestras like JONDE and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra. He has since performed with some of Europe's leading orchestras, including Bayerische Staatsoper, Staatskapelle Berlin, BR und HR Sinfonieorchester and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
His passion for chamber music has led to collaborations with ensembles such as Salaputia Brass, 10forBrass, Frankfurt Chamber Brass, Nineties Trombone Ensemble, And The Brass and the Uwe Dierksen Quartett.
From 2018 until 2026 he was Principal Trombone of the Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester and between 2022 and 2026 teacher at the Hochschule für Musik Mainz.
Currently, Miguel serves as Principal Trombone with the Bayerische Staatsoper.
João Martinho, born in 1991 in Guimarães, Portugal, studied in Porto and Berlin.
He has excelled in the orchestral field, starting with youth orchestras such as the GMJO and progressing to perform with some of Europe's leading orchestras, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, Staatskapelle Berlin, Münchner Philharmoniker, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, and the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, among others.
In 2015, João was awarded the 1st Prize at the ITA's Frank Smith Trombone Competition. As a chamber musician, he is a founding member of Mr. SC & the Wild Bones Gang and Portuguese Brass, and he regularly collaborates with Matthias Höfs in various ensembles, as well as with Salaputia Brass.
Currently, João serves as Principal Trombone with the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg and as an assistant teacher at the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
Daniel Téllez Gutiérrez, born in 1994 in Barcelona, Spain, pursued his studies in Barcelona, Switzerland, and Germany.
He has excelled in the orchestral field, starting with youth orchestras such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and GMJO, and being a member of the prestigious academies of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and Staatskapelle Berlin. He has progressed to perform with some of Europe's leading orchestras, including the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg, among many others.
Daniel has won several first prizes in competitions organized by the ITA in the USA and Spain. His passion for chamber music has led to participation in ensembles such as 10forBrass, Salaputia Brass, and the Trombone Unit Hannover.
Currently, Daniel serves as Principal Trombone with the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker/Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
Yuval Wolfson, born in Israel in 1990, studied in Tel Aviv and Berlin.
Yuval is a versatile musician who performs widely as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. His extensive orchestral career began with premier youth ensembles, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and progressed to the prestigious West-Eastern Divan Orchestra under the direction of Daniel Barenboim. He has since performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Staatskapelle Berlin, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin (DSO), Zurich Opera, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Teatro alla Scala, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
As an active chamber musician, Yuval frequently collaborates with renowned artists and ensembles, including composer and saxophonist Daniel Schnyder, the Trombone Unit Hannover, and Salaputia Brass.
Yuval is currently a member of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, serves as the Bass Trombonist of the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie until September 2026, and will join the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra as Bass Trombonist in October 2026.
